Hardware for PingER Deployment

The hardware requirement for deployment of PingER as monitoring host is usually minimal. As for the deployment in UNIMAS, we have deployed two separate monitoring hosts, using two different architecture: (1) Intel based desktop computer, and (2) ARM based Single Board Computer (SBC) using Raspberry Pi. The deployment of the second PingER monitoring host in UNIMAS using Raspberry Pi SBC is to evaluate the suitability and effectiveness of using Raspberry Pi as low cost remote monitoring host.
